2021 Plant Sale Fundraiser

Saturday, May 22, 9 am – 3 pm, at the Rocky Mountain Botanic Gardens patio

Our annual plant sale is back! This year we will be selling an assortment of native plants in 4” pots for $6 each, mostly perennial wildflowers and grasses.  Garden volunteers will be on hand throughout the day to make recommendations and share growing tips. A limited number of annual hanging baskets of brightly colored Million Bells will also be available, for $30, and we will be selling colorful summer t-shirts printed with our Rocky Mountain Botanic Gardens (RMBG) logo for $15. All proceeds from these sales benefit the RMBG.

Visitors will be able to explore the Gardens while they shop. We request that all attending wear masks and practice thoughtful social distancing for the safety of volunteers & visitors. Payments will be accepted by cash, check, or credit card. The RMBG's main entrance is located along the path to Bohn Park from the corner of Prospect St. and 4th Ave, in Lyons.

Brighten up your garden and please some pollinators with beautiful, low-water Colorado native plants while supporting our efforts to build a public garden in Lyons!

Annual Spring Plant Sale in May

posted Dec 12, 2018, 11:11 AM by Deirdre Daly   [ updated Feb 22, 2021, 3:30 PM by Jessie W. Berta-Thompson ]

Due to the Covid-19 crisis, we have cancelled the annual plant sale in 2020. We'll hope to have the sale again next Spring, 2021. Check our website for updates.

We have an annual plant sale one weekend every May, and we carry an incredible variety of plants that do well in the front range of Colorado. We will now be holding our sales onsite on the RMBG patio (no longer held at the Steamboat Mountain Foods location).

We offer perennials, including many natives, plus dozens of varieties of herbs, annuals, veggies, and hanging baskets. We make sure to have plenty of deer-resistant plants, plus knowledgeable volunteers to help answer your gardening questions.

We also sell colorful summer t-shirts printed with our Rocky Mountain Botanic Gardens (RMBG) logo. All proceeds from these sales benefit the RMBG.
